The year is 3015. The battlefields are dominated by war machines known as BattleMechs. Level entire cities and decimate the enemy in your BattleMech. Follow a quest for glory and revenge. Manage an expanding mercenary company. Fight alongside your friends with a four-player PvE co-op.

Love it. There's no other game like it. The early game is brutal (no money, fragile mechs) but progress feels hard-earned for most of the game and eventually you can field whatever you want. Base game is fine but the Jumpship Edition adds a lot and gives you a taste of campaigns. Lots of mod support for free additions.
Играл в батлтех на сеге, рад что игра жива столько лет спустя, могу пойти и поуправлять мужской мечтой, большим роботом. Надеюсь Пираньи и дальше будут кормить длц и развитием
Slow to start but soooo much fun once you get your head around it all. repeat playabilty is top level
これから始める人へのヒント 仲間メックの武器はティア1で十分です。 ティア4や5を使っても破壊されてしまうことが多く もったいないので。高ティアは自分の愛機に使いましょう。 メックの維持費はオプションで半分くらいに下げましょう。 色々なメックを気軽に使えるようになり より面白くなります。

Great fun, Looks fantastic, and even runs well on my potato pc. Can't recommend it more to fans of the Mecha genre, and sim style piloting games.

The gameplay loop is immensely satisfying: take contracts, manage your mercenary company’s bottom line, negotiate salvage rights, and strip components off enemy hulls to fix up your own squad. The weight and thud of firing AC/20s, Gauss rifles, and PPCs feel heavy and impactful. While the base game can get a bit repetitive, the sandbox really opens up once you drop into co-op with friends or tap into the fantastic active modding community. A must-buy for any sandbox sim or BattleTech fan.

18 hours in and I’m hooked. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries does a great job of making you feel like you’re actually running a mercenary company instead of just jumping from mission to mission. Building out a lance, managing repairs and salvage, hunting for better BattleMechs, balancing contracts, and then actually climbing into the cockpit gives the game a really satisfying loop. The combat feels heavy and deliberate. These machines have weight, and when autocannons, missiles, and lasers start tearing through armor, buildings, and enemy ’Mechs, it feels appropriately brutal. I also like how well the game complements BattleTech. BattleTech gives me the commander’s-eye view of the battlefield, while MW5 lets me personally pilot the machine and experience that same universe from inside the cockpit. The base game is good, but the DLC really expands it into something much larger. There is a ton of campaign and sandbox content, and the modding scene gives the game even more life on PC. It isn’t perfect. Mission variety can sometimes feel repetitive, and some of the management systems could go deeper, but the core gameplay loop is strong enough that I keep coming back. If you enjoy BattleTech, giant war machines, mercenary campaigns, salvage, customization, and tactical combat, I absolutely recommend it. Now if you’ll excuse me, somebody’s Atlas needs to lose a leg.
