very fun. Engine is a little heavy and starts to slow down late game
Fun terraforming meets factorio game. Had a lot of fun with it. Not too difficult, not too easy, very chill. Especially liked the aspect of having to move my facotries around and/or plan ahead for the changing water level. Only things I disliked were (I spend more time talking about the bad, but pls remember I did overall like the game): -the drone transport system: You can't control the direction of material movement and it doesn't tell you how much the maximum thruput is (like they do in Factorio). Making dealing with city waste products really annoying and planning big bases for expandability problematic. -the terrain tool is just bad. The depth resets every time, you can't easily see how much dynamite or soil you have stored up... this needs improving. And I still (50h in) have no idea how it decides on what it does to the terrain... no idea how to flatten terrain, bzw. to prevent pu…

Oh, and my PC really started to struggle once I got close to 1Million pop. And this PC runs a factory endgame megabase without a sweat, so... not quite as well optimized.
The bugs and performance issues have made me refund, even though the game concept really is my cup of tea.
Greast Game, even before the DLC came out. Great Music, moderate amount of stressing decisions to make.
I really like this game. It scratches the itch of learning something new, thinking you've got it, only to find out everything is underwater! Literally and metaphorically! Very calming and you can play at your own pace. There's definitely some things to prioritize first and the game doesn't make it obvious but with time it seems clear. I LIKE TRAINS

Its peak however sometimes it gets quite laggy when zooming out.
Lots of fun building and supplying your cities.
I like the game, but it feels like it's missing something critical in some aspect of the game play. Like the factory side of things isn't developed enough to make it feel like a factory game. You aren't running conveyor belts, balancing imputs, expanding a factory. Things never get more complicated than like, making green circuits in factorio, and even that is probably overselling the complexity by a significant margin. There's no power to consider, there's no real incentive to create like a main BUS or anything, and you don't have any granular control over your depots to try and create like buffers and stuff to control the flow of resources, beyond being able to mark depots as essentially fill valves "add material if drop below 50%". Which is something, but not a great deal. It's not really a teraforming game, you aren't trying to find a careful atmospheric balance. Or shaping terai…

Which is something, but not a great deal. It's not really a teraforming game, you aren't trying to find a careful atmospheric balance. Or shaping terain to form oceans and rivers, or trying to form certain biomes for animals to flourish in. You have two gasses you pump into the air pretty indescriminately, you can make dynamite to reshape the terrain, but I went through two sulphur patches dealing with one mountain that offended me, and you do have a limited supply of sulphur, so you're not going to be really able to remake the world exactly to your image. Sometimes you have to move your ice miners? Which is a bit annoying, and if you didn't pay attention to the detailed mode some of your industries going under water, until you pop it back out with the terrain shaping tool. Its not really a logistics game, though its probably closest to making that claim. Despite being tagged Trains, there's not much going on with the trains, you make a rail between two places, loop it, and all the trains have no collison so you slap however many you want in that baby. But you can't do multi-stops, you aren't concerned with train collisons, heck you can't even deliver the same resource to the same hex, all origin and destination points have to be unique. I never really got to try out the boats, and the trucks struck me as kind of a missed opportunity, they seemed like they should have been a cornerstone of a multilayered logistics system, where I'd bring things in in bulk with trains or boats, then distribute through trucks. But with the way the cities work, trying anything like that is just restrictive to your cities growth. Best use I got out of them was using them as a better fill-valve funnily enough, so my harvest stopped shuffling backwards for no reason. Towards the later half of the game you unlock airships, and they're unfairly strong. They don't have rails, so no intefering with city growth (or being submerged in the increasingly wet world), have massive cargo, can be placed anywhere, and can be pumped full of extra airships for insane throughput. There is, of course, the city supply side of things to consider, which is pretty much the core game loop, with a reinforcing loop from the rescycling mechanic. The rescycling loop has potential, but it's solved utterly by an airship and pressing R on the right supply depot, and the actual supply part is often just scaling and waiting. Its fun, but again it feels like it's missing something to make it pop. I suppose that is just the final tag line, it's fun but it needs something to make it pop. I think the 17 bucks was worth it to me, could not be so for others.
A fantastic automation game. I am honestly surprised this isn't more popular
