Wild West Supermarket Simulator

A Wild West supermarket with absolutely nothing going on I genuinely don't understand how this game is considered finished. If you've played an actual supermarket simulator before, there is almost nothing satisfying about the progression here. You stock shelves, manage your store, unlock things, "expand" and... that's basically it. Growing your store never gives you that satisfying feeling of actually building something. The systems feel shallow and the whole thing gets repetitive incredibly fast. And for a game that's supposed to be set in the Wild West, the world is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lifeless. The sound design might be one of the worst parts. You hear your own footsteps and NPC dialogue and thats it, the actual world sounds like an empty void. No wind. No meaningful environmental ambience. Horses can literally ride right past you and you don't hear their hooves. For a game trying to sell you on a Wild West setting, that's a massive immersion killer. The NPCs and employees don't exactly make things better either. There are constantly little problems with the simulation that make running the store feel more tedious than fun. Instead of feeling like you're managing a growing business, a lot of the time you're just dealing with the limitations of the game itself. And then there's the development. For roughly two years, we've been getting updates that mostly consisted of bug fixes, minor additions, and small changes. I'm not expecting developers to pump out massive expansions every month, but after two years I expected the game to actually feel substantially more developed. Instead, on October 1st, 2026, the developers announced that the game has received its final update and that there will be no more content or feature updates. That's what makes this so disappointing. I'm not expecting an infinite stream of updates, but after all that development time, this is what we're left with? A supermarket simulator with shallow progression, a completely dead feeling world, no environmental audio, repetitive gameplay, and a Wild West setting that feels more like a backdrop than an actual living world. The idea itself isn't even bad. A Wild West general-store simulator could have been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. A living town, horses and wagons actually making noise, wind and environmental ambience, traveling merchants, deeper economic decisions, better NPC interactions, more meaningful progression — there was so much potential here. Instead, it feels like a generic supermarket simulator wearing a cowboy hat. After two years of development and updates, the developers are calling it finished while the game still feels like it needed significantly more work. Not impressed. Not recommended.
