It's a great game before EVO 5, and feels like a completely different game after. First 20-25h there's always something new and fun to do. After that - insane amount of grind, waiting, pace is super-slow, you have to leave your computer on just for the sake of waiting. Not fun :( Having said that, for 5 bucks it's an amazing value even with the second part of game being very different
I belieb I can fly birds are not real
I have probably played upwards of a hundred idle/incremental games over the past year or so, and I can say with much confidence that this is probably the best one I have ever encountered. Birb strikes a perfect balance between an idler and a strategy game. Just when I thought I have unlocked everything, another mechanic is added, and never gives you opportunity to be bored. The visuals are great, the layers and storyline are even better, and I cannot sing enough praises for this game. If you dig idle/incremental, economy(ish), strategy, pixel games, then look no further than Birb.
it sssssoooooooooo much fun
I really want to love it, but the macOS lag is game-breaking. I have a powerful mac, but I experienced choppiness throughout playing. Once getting to the birb nest, the lag becomes nearly unplayable. FPS drops to around 10. Text in the fishing menus is bugged and barely readable in certain spots. The game itself is very fun. I don't know if these bugs exist on Windows. I would like to continue playing, but the roughness of the product makes it not recommendable and I won't continue until bugs are fixed. Also, in the birb nest, there's an "owned" tab for upgrades, and when you don't have any, clicking on it just makes it click back to the available tab, instead of (in a normal game) being greyed out. There's a lot of rough bugs/poor UI choices. I will change my review if these bugs are fixed.
As someone who’s played countless idle and incremental games, I can confidently say Birb is one of the best in the genre right now. Incredibly enjoyable and easily a 10/10.

There is a hard stall with the parrot rebirb, i have everything i can possibly unlock unlocked and i am staring at a multi day timeframe getting the dang parrot strong enough to actually make progress. you can get locked out of the birb nest if you dont focus that earlier than evo 5. not a bad 5$ game but could use a little tweaking.
Best game ever!
I haven´t enjoyed an idle in a really long time that has an amazing balance of active and idle gameplay. It has great progression and a good variety of gameplay loops. Pruu

It's good so far. It is starting to get hard to figure out what I should be doing though.
The Mac environment is too laggy in birb nest and parrot so I can't play it. Even though there's no lag on the web version
