Game is just a great time. Full of nostalgia, both in gameplay and music.
Loads of fun. Intuitive gameplay pairs well with a fast uptempo retro soundtrack. The weapon system seems simple at first but the ability to combine weapon upgrades is a fun twist for tight situations. My one suggestion would be to limit the use of jumps with a recharge timer but also make you invincible during a jump/shift. Looking forward to expanded level options.
Killer soundtrack, radical visuals, key ingredients to a dynamite time! Collecting the VHS tapes is a fun way to unlock additional ships. Can't wait to unlock the final ship! Highly recommend this game :)

This game is rad. This was such an ambitious project that was so well executed. There's a cool backstory, a killer soundtrack, and tons of little easter eggs. I got a huge kick out of collecting the VHS and all the thought that went into the movie titles and synopsizes. If you like 80's nostalgia, killing aliens, awesome music, and chasing high scores then I think you're gonna have a good time with this one.
Fun game! It's short, but replayable. It has that chaotic energy that gives you a dopamine it. Worth the price of admission for a fun game that doesn't overstay its welcome. Also, devs are funny! I'm sorry I skipped your cutscene!

Apparently I had to spend $5 on Steam just to earn the privilege of telling you this game is worth playing. 😂 From Beyond: Arcade Edition is weird, chaotic, colorful, ridiculously fun, and somehow makes blasting aliens to music feel completely reasonable. The whole thing has so much personality. You can tell a lot of creativity and love went into building this strange little universe. I came in wanting to support someone I care about, but 2.5 hours later I was still playing, chasing achievements, collecting VHS tapes, and getting way more competitive about my score than I’d like to admit. It’s quirky, nostalgic, slightly unhinged, and absolutely does its own thing. In a world full of games that start to feel the same, I genuinely appreciate that. Come for the aliens. Stay for the chaos. Leave wondering why you suddenly care so much about VHS tapes. Yes, I recommend it. Obviously. �…

Love the game. Love the music. Takes me back to the nostalgic table-top games of the 90s. Can't wait to see more content!
