"This game uses generative AI as part of the development process... The game does not use generative AI to create content in real time during gameplay." Just pointing that out for those who see no gray area on AI. At the time of the review, I got it for free. I have ONLY done one floor. As such, I do recommend it just to try. It has flaws to work out, but if you're interested in card games, freebie is still a freebie. It did start me with Japanese language, not English. Had to navigate to to the options, 4th out of 5 buttons on the title screen, and manually fix that. When it goes to paid, I'd say if $20 or less, (NA) it would be okay in its current state. But there are still recommendations and changes I have for it. Scummiest thing at the moment, it uses a dungeon style system. Each floor has consecutive battles before you should retreat back to town. You get to choose one of three random cards off your opponent's deck for beating them. But then when you retreat, you lose some of those cards. For first impressions of the game, just look at the trailer. I think the video is a fair impression of what to expect. It doesn't feel fancy or flashy, what you see is what you get. So if you're not impressed or interested off just that, you probably won't like the game.
