Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD

I already knew I was going to enjoy this game when I played the demo, but I *really* knew this game was going to be good when I saw the classic mode. Kingdom Rush 6 really successfully pulled me back to the nostalgia of the first original game, and is incredibly good. Not only is the whole thing free without any in game purchases, like some of the later games, but even the heroes and towers call back to various games through the line of releases. You have towers from the original game and Origins, and the LORE, the lore is amazing. The worldbuilding and the way everything is set up and framed is absolutely beautiful. There are so many new stages that focus around the events of the game, that try new ways to represent a tower defense map, and with different interactive points. I think there's at least three or four bosses that call back to the original game's bosses, not to mention all the different types of spells you can use, and the different towers and heroes. This game is truly a work of art that completely lived up to all of my hopes and expectations, and went beyond them. From stages that included heroes from Frontiers as central pieces, to reusing the original boss music at the last stage where it fit, the whole thing was spectacular. I knew I loved this game before I finished it, but I just had to wait to post it until then. Thank you to Ironhide Games.
