This game goes unreasonably hard. It is fun as hell with a friend, the unlocks trigger all the good brain juices, and the soundtrack is badass. For $4? Come on now
This is a great addition to an arcade library. You start each round with nothing but a trusty rock and then outfit your screen with defenses that do most of the killing for you. It also includes a local 2nd player option that is perfect for a lesser skilled partner. It's only weakness (or its primary strength depending on who you are) is its sense of humor. Don't play with kids unless you plan on explaining terrorists, the Third Reich, a flashing perv, a pimp, or a stripper.
Nothing in this world or the next could have prepared me for Sidewalk Simulator, it is amazing.
Man, this game. I like this game. It's weird as hell and the basis of it is fun. It's very interesting. But it's just too damn hard.

Really fun game with an absolutely killer soundtrack. This is a great way to kill some time and although it can get difficult I find myself wanting to come back. 100% worth the price
Fun little indie game, clearly made with a ton of love. Hilarious writing/game design, fun mechanics, big build variety. Certainly worth 4 dollars. Dev is also very responsive and fixed a bug i messaged him about on the game's discord.
Twelve out of the thirteen positive reviews are from Sock Puppet accounts with no other Steam games on them, which is pretty lame. I don't know why Steam allows such easy manipulation of its review system. (Edit: They're leaving harassing comments on my profile now, identifying themselves as friends of the developer. This is the definition of sockpuppetting, lol.) Sidewalk Simulator is a lofi tower defense game with a zany meme coat of paint. It has a very minimal pixel/MSPaint vomit-type aesthetic. The UI is among the worst I've ever encountered in a video game. Inaccessible choices like bright pink text on light gray or cyan on dark blue. Icons look nearly identical. Systems aren't explained at all. What is the greediness system? What's a necromancy? Items and upgrades have vague/zany explanations. I think there's a fun experience here (especially for two people) I found myself …

I think there's a fun experience here (especially for two people) I found myself having fun once I built some turrets and some walls, but it needs to find a balance between proper theming and being too obtuse and inaccessible. A UI refresh and a good intro/tutorial would go a long way. You can still keep the pixel trash aesthetic and have a usable UI, games like Hylics, Hypnospace Outlaw, Post Void do this well. Hopefully your friends don't harass any others leaving constructive criticism.
