I really like this game. It's very fleshed out until you hit romance. Romances progress like any friendship but there's no events and no indicator that they are even romantically interested in you-you suddenly just get a letter from a priest saying you can get married.... Honestly it feels like the game isn't finished in that regard? Please tell me there is more coming in that area or I might not be interested in continuing to be honest. It does become a huge grind right around the catacombs. So, I switched to cozy mode or I would have probably stopped playing. I love the art, the details, the eldritch feel, and the homage they pay to Junji Ito's Spiral theme.

I love finding dark farm sims! This one has been really fun and I knew I'd love it after the demo. That being said.... it could use some more polish. I've run into some glitches, such as people giving me tasks before I've accepted them from the board, or even before they've appeared there. I'm not sure if there's a way to switch which seed you're planting before you use them all, which is a bit of a pain. The dialogue from the various characters gets repetitious quickly. There's little incentive to interact with them after that, much less make friends. As others have mentioned, it gets a bit directionlessly grindy around the middle. The radio broadcasts are really cool, but they become much less interesting when you realize they don't have much to do with the gameplay at all. I love this game, it just feels a bit... unfinished.
