I liked this game, though with a lot of caveats. Consider this a borderline recommend. - The difficulty spikes here and there can be very rough and overall feels uneven. - A lot of the movement and combat can feel janky and is extremely reminiscent of old school NES/16-bit platformers (e.g. 8 direction aiming, fixed jump distances that you can't change direction mid air from, can't attack mid air except melee, instant death pits). - The level design is some times a bit frustrating to navigate especially the last area. - Some mechanics feel kind of unnecessary whilst others are very easy to abuse. - The story is also basically none existent. - Encountered a fair amount of bugs, though nothing game breaking. - Pretty short given the price, but its a solo developed game and clearly a lot of passion went into certain aspects so I'm not going to knock it too much for being janky. Having said that, most of the pixel art is genuinely great and sells the extremely dark sci-fi atmosphere. It's extremely bleak stuff. I just wish there was more of a story to go with it.
