Chronicon - Cosmic Curse

Great addition to the game, works great in conjunction with Ancient Beasts DLC to grant a good amount of money and shards needed to buy those passives for real push! Curse and bless mechanic is pretty cool, would be nice to see them add more blessing options for each slot and some way to see the available options. Some of the enemies added are currently overtuned in some way, not sure exactly what Squawkers do that seems to destroy me. I expect this will be adjusted in time. Would also love a DPS dummy for build testing. Good fun, good addition, extra content, extra customisation, what's not to love.

Absolutely love this DLC, I am in love with the hordes of enemies that can spawn. I do however wish that the Plunders let you select a couple of "global" modifiers that would be applied to every single map you play in a plunder, for a cost of course. Also wish that the plunders would include the "normal" maps as well in the rotation, instead of just the plunder maps, they flow really well, but can get a bit stale after a few runs.

Cosmic Curse is a bit short, but I honestly bought this DLC mostly to support the developers for continuing to work on Chronicon after all these years. The new Curse and Blessing mechanics are pretty fun and give the endgame some new things to experiment with. That said, the DLC definitely feels more focused on endgame players, and some of the new systems can be a little difficult to get into at first. Still, for this price, I really can’t complain. There’s a nice amount of new content and mechanics for what it costs, and I’m just happy to see Chronicon still receiving new updates and DLC. Absolutely worth it for me, especially if you already enjoy the endgame.
