game sucks
very hard and no real progression after lossing. boss is impossible for noobs like me
probably one of the best arcade racer ive ever played. And i say that despite i played since my childhood titles like underground 2, hot pursuit, mw 2012 and so on. This game combines good driving mechanics and a proper upgrade system like never seen before. I love the implementation of the roguelike-esque progression a lot, but i wish there would be more of a challenge to it for more experienced players. Unlocking all the cards and cars is a lot of fun but short lived if everything is quickly achieved. Apart from that everything you really notice that the devs really put a lot of dedication and love into this game. If this game gets good content updates it will be probably the best arcade racer from the last 10 years for sure.
Cool concept. Awesome visual style. Need 9 hours for platinum. The only problem is the monotony and the fact that there is little point in playing without going for maximum speed.
Great fun, great value Sure, the music gets annoying fairly quickly, but it's easy enough to replace the soundtrack with your own tunes

Similar to another reviewer I had originally written a (mostly) positive review, but unfortunately this game did not disclose that a good amount of it's OST is AI generated. Disappointing, as despite some issues with the core gameplay and replayability, I could see potential here.
Initial D Balatro is a pretty fun idea. The driving is above average, the visuals are great, and overall its a pretty fun time.
Very fun, and very underpriced, for this quality and amount of content I would say this could easily be double the price. It's a rogue lite driving game, which I've personally never seen this type of subgenre, with cards that upgrade your car so you can make more points so you can buy more cards, and it stacks up pretty fast and nicely. There's also more cars, car parts, paint jobs, and other small bonuses between runs. It looks very balanced and is just the right amount of rewarding, and very forgiving, so far it barely got me frustrated once. The fact that it is not frustrating and pretty forgiving makes the game a nice combination of exciting and relaxing, and is even cozy. No bugs so far, beautiful art style and graphics, nicely optimized, nicely designed cutscenes, pretty artworks in loading screens, and a decently long campaign that i haven't even finished yet, but so far i like it…

No bugs so far, beautiful art style and graphics, nicely optimized, nicely designed cutscenes, pretty artworks in loading screens, and a decently long campaign that i haven't even finished yet, but so far i like it, and there's also endless mode that is pretty cool, AND multiplayer. All the models and textures are smooth and refined, the visual effects are amazing, it has a large variety of cards to choose from, a good variety of cars, and special paint jobs for each car. The music is very basic, but it's not downright bad, but personally I just like to listen to different songs while playing, which the game has even made it an option to insert custom songs so you don't even need Spotify or YouTube. The game felt so too good to be true that I wandered if the developers used ai, but as far as I checked they didn't, which makes this all the more incredible, and I don't know why this game isn't more popular. Also currently the game still receives updates, which is also really good, but it also just released so idk, but I don't even think it needs more updates and is already amazing. All in all, this is incredibly high quality and quantity for a very low price, no reason to pass up on this one unless you don't like driving games at all. Genuinely can't compliment this game enough.
Balatro meets late 2000's/ early 2010's arcade racer. I absolutely love this game. The driving aspect feels nearly right. There's some aspects of the handling that feel frustrating, but it might just be my skill issue. However, the gameplay is easy enough to grasp, but has a difficult to master aspect with the randomness of the maps/traffic/obstacles. I've felt my fair share of a dopamine rush from either BIIIIIG points or just chaining drifts through thick traffic. Or even going flatout through straights and light bends weaving about. I love this game, it's a fun time killer and just a damn good and fun game. Shoutout to DoVe_7 and KuruHS btw, I wouldn't have known of this game if they didn't make videos of it before it's release. And obviously, shoutout to the dev, you made a real gem. o7
Great Game!
Hands down, one of the best roguelite games I've played this year. I won't get too deep into the AI discussions; the UI is a bit sloppy, yes, but the gameplay is smooth and addictive. The music didn't really get me in much for me, but it doesn't affect the game all that much in the end. It would've been amazing if the content was a bit richer. Hope more content and updates come
