**26 HOURS OF CASUAL GAMEPLAY — AND THE GAME IS ALREADY FINISHED.** ### PROS: - Something new and different. - The overall concept is promising. - The idea behind the game is actually pretty good. ### CONS: - **BUGS, BUGS, BUGS!** After about 5 hours of gameplay, my dog completely disappeared. I never saw it again. - I constantly get stuck in garbage bags and other objects. - Terrible collision detection. - Graphics, textures, and object models could definitely be improved. - **Extremely short storyline.** - I never unlocked the fast travel point blueprint, so I couldn't relocate my base and set up my own fast travel point. - **The game feels EXTREMELY EMPTY AND UNFINISHED!** - I expected so much more. - **Very little content. Seriously, WAY TOO LITTLE!** - Once you finish the story, there's absolutely nothing left to do. ### FINAL VERDICT: I had much higher expectations for this game…

After just 26 hours of taking my time and exploring, I've already finished everything the game has to offer. **The world feels empty, the content is severely lacking, and the bugs make the experience even worse.** There is simply no reason to keep playing after completing the story. **SO MUCH POTENTIAL, BUT SO LITTLE CONTENT!**

I typically don't leave reviews. I'll start off by saying that I didn't experience any camera issues. My rig is running everything on epic pretty well, about 120 frames. I will say that it would be nice if the load in from fast traveling was a little quicker, it just seems like a black screen for no reason. I have quickly clicked to unstuck myself and it loads immediately. I have had times when I was stuck in that screen. I had one time that I just died randomly at a junk car. I would also adjust the fast travel point to not be exactly where the town logo is and maybe highlight it on the map screen. It's a tad bit annoying to have to reach around and search out the dark symbol. The combat feels fine. In story mode, the environmental aspects don't seem terrible. The hunger doesn't run out too fast and the tiredness is handled relatively easy. The animals are dumb, but I think that is the intent. It would be nice if it was a little harder to find food. The storage crates are too small. The base building is lack luster but it is what I expected. All in all, I am going to keep playing it until I get bored, but I can't imagine (as a solo) that this will be something that I play for months to come. I can't say I would recommend anyone to buy it but I can say, I don't feel like it's going to be a waste of my money. I'd give it a positive review for where it is right now. I'm sure it will get better in time.
Well made fun game overal. Needs a few updates for picking up items and couple Quality of life updates.
Permafrost représente parfaitement l'industrie des jeux d'aujourd'hui, il est prometteur mais loin d'être terminé, et on ne sait pas s'il le sera un jour. Pour l'instant je ne vous le recommande pas, 20 euros pour une campagne qui se finit en 7h c'est bien trop cher, cependant le jeu est très sympa, il y a quelques points négatifs dont vous devriez prendre connaissance avant l'achat : - Beaucoup de bugs sont présents pour l'instant, des problèmes de récolte de ressources, des morts subites lors du chargement de la sauvegarde, des schémas récupérés qui ne fonctionnent pas. - Un monde vivant innovant mais vachement vide, les quêtes comportent des bugs, des items manquants (les devs travaillent dessus). - Les PNJs sont inintéressants, les vendeurs sont useless du début à la fin, et le chien n'a aucun intérêt (j'ai complété le jeu sans). This fun game survival, hardcore cold death, some quests, and a dog friend which is a storage crate on four legs!
Still in early access but it still has good gameplay. A couple of rough edges and a lack of some quality of life things such as pulling crafting materials from nearby chest when using crafting stations but overall enjoyable enough keep you wanting to play just that little bit longer to get that other next piece of loot so you can craft that better piece of gear.

Très bon jeu :) Il manquerais juste un traineau a chien ou bien des ski ou un Skidoo pour ce promener sur la map et ce serais VRAIMENT GÉNIAL :D

Nice concept and its pretty fun so far, but PLEASE fix the player zoom in when you run. I disabled headbob and that fixed it but whenever I tab out of the game for a moment and come back in, the issue comes back. I have to go back into the settings to enable then disable it again. Zooming in while a player is running is very annoying... I still recommend the game cuz the concept is nice and im sure its even better with friends but this movement style feels very clunky.
Not sure how I feel about this. Im a very big fan on winter survival themed games so I thought I would like this one. Trailers/screenshots (and even the description of the survival mode) implied that this would be a survival-focused, immersive game. When you spawn in you are greeted with this cheesy Triple-A radio dialog. you "craft" a bow with 2 logs (from a bush) and a rope. and arrows with one piece of wood. Next area 1 minute away has 6 Deer that I proceeded to kill/loot in 20 seconds. then its the NPC camp with traders/cooking area and quest giver. Game feels very "safe". Also I know the game advertises itself as "Story driven" But there is a whole lot of dialog and NPC interaction in the first 30 mins that the trailers did not show. Going to refund, Not what I expected.
A really good game, what a surprise!!!
