This is an awesome DLC for an awesome game. I LOVE the new mascots, the new map, and the new gameplay mechanics. They add a lot to the game with the fun and characteristic unique style of Two Point Museum (which I absolutely love!). If you love theme parks, Two Point games, and are thinking about getting this DLC, I really recommend it.

It's cute, but it's shockingly busted for how good this game normally is. I recommend it...but it's got problems. Ride has 12 seats on it? You're lucky if the queue allows 4 people on before closing the doors. I've seen the queue doors close and literally cause a guest to get "lost" and bounce out of the area to safety because it closed right on them. No ride is EVER full. I'm watching a ride right now that has 6 guests in line, and an icon over the line noting that they are bored. It's only 6 guests and they are bored. The ride seats 8. But it only has 3 people on it. Once the door opens, only 4 get on. The remaining 4 stay in line and are bored. What is wrong with this? There's huge, huge problems with the coaster tools. They just don't work right. Read my entire thread on it. The game suffers a lot from control problems and control inconsistencies and they're far, far worse here than in any other content. Building a coaster is a nightmare. It's unintuitive in terms of gameplay, too. The goal is to create rides that are thrilling, but also "Ferocious" and "Nauseous". Ferocity makes the ride more appealing but also more scary, and Nausea makes it more likely to make poeple sick and less attractive to people who have a lower threshold. Basically, the higher the percent, the better, but the percentage is also the "chance" a guest won't want to ride. So you'll make more money per rider on a really ferocious ride, but less people will ride overall because it's crazy. Except the rides also attract Thrill Seekers, who aren't bothered by either, so it kinda evens out. Thing is, this means making tracked rides is based on being absolutely insane. Which is fine, it's a silly game series, but if you're coming from ANY other coaster game ever made- including Sim Theme Park, which is the Bullfrog original that this is clearly trying to bring your brain back to- you'll be doing it wrong. The point is to make *bad* rides. They need to go really fast around really painful curves and do incredibly dangerous twists and loops where the coaster's on the outside of the loop even if it's the type of car that'd kill you if you did that. You need to build the coaster that kills people, or it doesn't work. Which is fine, but it feels counter-intuitive to do. Leveling up the rides is really grindy. Similar to how existing exhibits get better as you develop survey levels, you get better versions of blueprints for rides as you explore. But unlike existing exhibits, they go in a set progression order. Normal game- you level up the survey level, and have a higher *maximum* quality you can find. Sending really experienced staff out, completing event requirements, etc can boost the exhibit quality, and skip a step, or outright get you a pristine exhibit without ever seeing the earlier levels. This DLC- The rides are basically the only thing you find at any given POI. You will always find the base ride first, the next step up second, the next step up third, the next step up fourth. There's no way to skip any. So if it has 4 blueprint levels, you need at minimum 4 visits, and you can't bump the survey level up faster than the progression goes, so there's no skipping. It makes seeking things out less strategic and random than other content, and makes it a static "you must repeatedly go to this place to get this one item to its max level" gameplay loop, which is unfortunate. The rides also make a TON of money, and that's with the above problem that they don't even let all the guests in line get on at once. You make a LOT. So the economics of it feels a bit out of whack. It is a fun pack, and it is actually really refreshing to decorate outside. Although that leads into more problems. So much of the game's content is arbitrarily locked to indoors or outdoors only. So half those fences you have unlocked? You can't use them outdoors. The fences you get from this pack? Can't use them indoors. It's two different systems, for absolutely no reason. And yo

Another fun and reasonably priced DLC from the team at Two Point! There are tons of new rides/exhibits for your park and the new map is spacious. Loving the new decorations as well.

While a slight deviation from the "Museum" of it all, I really enjoy that this DLC forces you to focus on an entirely different scale than the base game and even previous DLCs. Rides are massive, and you have to encount for that. I usually zoom in when decorating, now I have to zoom out! I agree that the coasterbuilding mechanics can be a bit finnick-y and for an actual team park GAME, I'd much prefer the tried and tested build-by-piece method. But for a more laid-back game that focuses on different things anyway? This quick-and-dirty method is perfectly acceptable. If you want to build expansive and realistic coasters there are famously very fantastic games to scratch that itch. Rides & Relics won't give you that, but it will give you that patented Two Point Museum fun from a new angle!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ – me What an amazing, if unexpected, DLC! But the more I think about it, the more Rides & Relics makes perfect sense as an addition to Two Point Museum. And I'm so glad it exists! First things first, the new assets are absolutely gorgeous, though I do wish we had a few more large decorations to place around the coasters. Everything we do have is so colourful, charming and beautifully detailed, and the gameplay is, in my opinion, some of the most fun I've had with anything in the Two Point lineup so far! The new area, Riquetti Gardens, is quite unashamedly inspired by Denmark's real-life Tivoli Gardens, which I was lucky enough to visit for the first time recently. And I have to say, they've done a beautiful job of paying homage to it! I bring this up because Tivoli itself sits very comfortably somewhere between a museum, botanical gardens and a theme park. It's the second-oldest operating theme park in the world, with a wooden rollercoaster that's been running since 1914! But it's also home to concerts, exhibitions, an aquarium and all sorts of other cultural experiences. Historically, there's always been quite a bit of crossover between museums, gardens, exhibitions and theme parks. Several of Europe's best-known theme parks and zoos began life as country estates or gardens before gradually expanding to include rides and animals. Alton Towers and Paultons Park are two particularly good British examples! Then there are places like Futuroscope and EPCOT, which have always blurred the lines between education, exhibitions, and entertainment. So, I completely understand why some people thought this DLC might lean a little too far into 'theme park' territory rather than 'museums'. But I respectfully disagree! I think there's more than enough historical and cultural overlap to justify its place in Two Point Museum. And as someone working in spatial design, with a particular interest in storytelling and educational experiences, I rather love that the developers are willing to explore these slightly unexpected corners of what a museum can be. As much as I adored Arty-Facts finally bringing art into the game (something I'd been hoping for since launch!), I'm equally delighted that Rides & Relics has taken us somewhere I genuinely never expected or even thought to ask for! Besides, it's a wonderfully natural testing ground for some potential future Two Point ideas... A massive kudos to the team for making it all so much fun, and for giving a lovely little nod to the old Bullfrog legacy along the way. In fact, I'm currently enjoying this more than either Parkitect or Planet Coaster 2, which I really wasn't expecting! I do have one small gripe with Two Point Museum more generally, rather than this DLC specifically. As the DLCs grow, I'm finding the exhibition map feature increasingly overwhelming, to the point that it's probably the biggest thing stopping me from playing as often as I'd like. I'd love to see that revisited or streamlined in a future update. But beyond that, the game remains an absolute joy, and the love, creativity and attention to detail poured into this particular expansion really shine through. Something I want to give Two Point Studios enormous credit for though is their DLC pricing. In a world where some games seem determined to charge as much for their expansions as the original game itself, Two Point continues to be a refreshing exception. I was genuinely overjoyed to discover that Rides & Relics was already included in the sale, despite being barely a day old! That's the sort of thing that earns a lot of goodwill from me. And, yes, as plenty of others have already said, if Two Point Studios ever decides to make a fully fledged Two Point Theme Park, I'll be there on day one, wallet in hand, with absolutely no regrets. In the meantime, I'm thrilled with this wonderfully unexpected addition to Two Point Museum. It's cheerful, creative, a little bit bonkers, and full of that unmistakable Two Poin

Super fun expansion, fits well with rest of the game. Awesome how you can fit things under the roller coasters. The mascots are hilarious. The initial space is small; I've now unlocked two more plots and space is more convenient, can't wait to build a roller coaster spanning the entirety of the map once I unlock it all.
