Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

Very casual "dad gamer" here. Finished the campaign in 10+ hours on Easy, and also played quite a bit on Normal in co-op with a friend. This game is absolutely great if you just want to have fun without turning combat into homework. The campaign is relatively short, but packed with action. The visuals are gorgeous, especially the cities and huge battlefields. Everything feels extremely cinematic, from regular fights to massive set pieces and cutscenes. And most importantly: you really feel like a Space Marine. Huge, heavy, powerful - basically a walking tank with a chainsword. No endless grind, no need to master 200 mechanics, no 100-hour commitment. Just a very concentrated dose of explosions, hordes, beautiful locations and ridiculous Warhammer spectacle. ASSEMBLE! ASSEMBLE! INTERACT! INTERACT! Highly recommended.

This is the medicine brother. Big fat ugly xeno boss screaming at work for no reason entire day? I do not care. I know that ill come home and blow, rip and disintegrate their kind in this beautiful simulator. And oh brother there are plenty of ways to do that. And all of them soul healingly cool. Only thing that breaks my immersion is intelligence of these xenos and heretics that is far greater than of my coworkers, and beautiful bond I share with my two brothers as we mow down trough operations and search for our missing dads. Emperor! I meant emperor! Short, sweet and hella cinematic campaign. Excellent, challenging and rewording grind in operations. Two more game modes that I still barely touched after 100+ hrs. All DLC just badass cosmetics. Constant updates even after two years.
