Ok, so I'm definitely not a programmer, BUT I have now been playing programming games for a couple years now. Most of them are Python Syntax, such as The Farmer Was Replaced (definitely recommend this if this game is too much at once and you want more hand-holding.) But back to the point... I would say there are definitely things that I would recommend adopting into this game, such as the "hovering result" that is provided in the other game. Like, if I hovered my mouse over a variable, the system would actually show a little popup window with the calculated result without ever having to run the code or make it "print" that result during a loop. Another thing that is SUPER handy is the importing of other files which contain code (variables, functions, etc.) I also REALLY need the UI to be more moveable, minimizable, etc. Sometimes my code is so long that I want to see as much as I can to…

This game is very fun, and will only get better with some tinkering. I like the swarm idea, and wish there were other games trying this kind of programming approach to genres such as colony sims, etc. Thank you for your time!
machines go brrrrrr
Disclaimer: I love programming games. It's alright, in my opinion. I'm no programmer, so take this review with a grain of salt. Uses Python-like syntax (I think that's the word). It's not Python, exactly, but it seems to use some aspects of the language. Game provides you with a bunch of functions, and an API. There is a tutorial, a scenario game mode, and a sandbox mode. It's a simple game. I found it enjoyable. My one complaint is a lack of autocomplete. I can't remember how or what I am trying to spell, sometimes. I'd appreciate a pretty little box popping up, suggesting all sorts of nonsense to me. But the API works, as an indispensable friend who is tedious to navigate (BECAUSE MY MOUSE IS BROKEN). Actually, forget the autocomplete. The API is small, so autocomplete seems worthless. But, a print function would be grand.
