goated puzzle game ngl.
If you want to play on steam deck use this launch string to avoid menu crashing: PROTON_DISABLE_NVAPI=1 %command% I personally really enjoyed my experience with the game. It’s not Blue Prince, which I think is a masterpiece, and it’s not Outer Wilds, which is great in its own right. But it is a fun time loop puzzle adventure that has elements of both games and some of its own flavor. There are a good mix of tricky and sometimes frustrating puzzles, but it feels rewarding to start connecting the dots. There were a couple very tricky and/or tedious puzzles, but that kind of comes with the territory of many puzzle games tbh. The ship and environment as a whole was a good experience. Big enough to keep you looking around corners and opening doors for a while. Small enough that you never feel like you are too far away when restarting your time loop. The characters were decent for the most…

Big enough to keep you looking around corners and opening doors for a while. Small enough that you never feel like you are too far away when restarting your time loop. The characters were decent for the most part, but I wouldn’t say I was fully blown away by their writing. But it was cool that they did voice acting to help bring the world to life. I did end up finishing the game before solving a couple of the puzzles, but I didn’t quite realize that was actually the end of the game. I kind of expected to have to finish them to complete the story, but now I know why they were optional! I would have liked a little more flair leading up to the ending action though. My only real complaint is that it worked fine on steam deck initially, and then after an early patch the game would crash thirty seconds after launching. Support just said “steam deck is not officially supported” and left it at that. But some kind steam users were able to figure out a launch command that allows the game to work on the deck again.
Beautiful game, great puzzles and concept. Recommended!
Amazing puzzle game with a cool sci-fi story. The hardest puzzles are optional but very satisfying to do and I know how to solve a rubik's cube now !

Fun game hard puzzles some I got most i needed help. the game has colorblind mode but some of it is not correct so ask a friend on the colors if you are having issues like me. everything is random numbers compared to the other peoples play throughs do not use the exact numbers from guides and use them to get the idea of what to do

Overall I enjoyed the game; it was fun and I like the Sci-fi aesthetics. Didn't mind using external tools for few tedious things, but obviously it would be better if the game didn't require those. The interface was good, except for the Cubiks Cube. In comparison the demo was more condensed and this is a more stretched out experience, but still solid.
I loved this game and strongly disagree with the vast majority negative reviews. It's a video game, even more a puzzle game, so every player has its own approach and expectations. I won't blame people for not liking the game but hear me out: DO NOT LET NEGATIVE REVIEW SPOIL YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE. First, the game graphics are surprisingly outstanding. After a few hours in the game, I was part of the ARES space station: everything makes sense, the details feel like people really lives here. I did not expect the game to be so good-looking, even more for an indie developped by a very few people. The ambiances feel great too, as well as the music (btw I wish they are available on streaming platforms one day!). Now the gameplay: it's a massive escape room. It's not a puzzle game in the sense where you solve various puzzle one after another: in Rivage the puzzles are related to each other and i…

The ambiances feel great too, as well as the music (btw I wish they are available on streaming platforms one day!). Now the gameplay: it's a massive escape room. It's not a puzzle game in the sense where you solve various puzzle one after another: in Rivage the puzzles are related to each other and in the end everything makes sense. Some "quest" are short-terms, some are long. Some are classics, some are originals and felt new. The loop system with the restraint on how many doors you can open never felt frustrating (I'm looking at you, Blue Prince) and had me planning on what to do next. The story felt sometimes a little odd but nothing I couldn't get through. The ending got me breathless though. As a fan of this genre, I appreciated the love testimonies to Outer Wilds and so on, but I wouldn't compare games between them because each one is unique, and Rivage is unique too. In the end, I was waiting for Rivage for a long time, and the result experience was even better than what I was waiting for.
Jonny
It is fine.
Truly an amazing game, both on the technical/gameplay and the narrative parts. YES, there are small issues, small bugs, small voice lines that are a bit uncanny, but overall it nevers break the nice nasapunk immersion. Also PLEASE consider, for the developer and designers, that making this kind of non-linear game requires a great understanding and mastery of gameplay and narrative mechanics : its not a random and generic corridor puzzle game, and that is what's great about it. Loved it !
