Undeniably Game of The Year, no matter how good GTA 6 is going to be.
As always, Remedy Entertainment delivers greatness. I only wish the game allowed you to switch weapons mid-combat. Otherwise, no notes, I'm very very invested in the Control franchise!
the most beautifully put together game i've played in a long time. aesthetically and mechanically this game slaps. story is some straight nonsense but still very entertaining.
The visuals, combat, movement, traversal are all superb. But the lore is deep and very, very interesting. I was more excited about finding lore documents than actual loot during my entire run
Buen juego. La jugabilidad si la siento mejor para el mundo que plantea, sin embargo no se si la historia esta a la misma altura que en el juego anterior o el mismo Alan Wake 2. Este ultimo dejando la vara muy alta a mi parecer.

Absolutely amazing game. Game has some of the best exploration in recent years. Graphics are insane. Combat is fun though it gets a bit repetitive. Still fun.
HOLY ABSOLUTE PEAK. You can see how much work and thought they put into this game. Also it only costs like $50 in most countries.

It's good but the combat is meh. I feel as though for the year we're living in, for how many games have come before Control: Resonant, we could've, and SHOULD'VE, gotten a much more complex combat system. The combo finishers and secondary combo moves, SHOULD, in my opinion, be able to be swapped mid-combo at the push of a button, NOT simply just allocated to a loadout. For this type of game, its combat is its selling point. And it feels like a mundane and repetitive cycle we've all seen in dozens of open-world-sandbox-city-map action games (go to (x) location, do (y) thing). This game just REEKS of a spiderman clone. Variety in both what we can do in the game, and the enemies we fight, is what I don't get from this. The ONLY thing carrying this game honestly is the story and the setting. GAMEPLAY-wise it's literally NOTHING new and NOTHING fresh. I'm only 2 resonant's in and already …
