This game's aesthetics and atmosphere pay great homage to the likes of the Resident Evil early movies and later games, and also Half Life, the SCP Foundation, and Portal in some ways. And for the gameplay, it takes many elements from Left 4 Dead, Ready or Not and Bodycam. And in this way it's easy to see that the dev took a lot of inspiration from quite a few different sources, but RE is definitely the one that sticks out the most. The game only has a 2-4 player coop campaign for now, and it does contain a server browser system. I still recommend however to only buy this game alongside at least 2-3 friends to get the best experience. Having to coordinate with your friends through in game proximity chat, where you only have your voices to identify who is who can be pretty funny at times, with also a radio button to talk from afar. The game ran surprisingly well in most parts on my low-end hardware. Given the bad reputation that Unreal Engine 5 games usually receive for their optimization, the dev really worked hard to manage to optimize this game, since i ran with mostly medium graphics and the game remained fairly immersive. The game may feel a bit rough around some edges, like the enemies' AI and animations and some other things for example. But given that this game was majorly developed by a solo dev with a bit of help from a couple of friends, the game has turned out pretty nicely, and can provide quite the immersive and fun experience for a small group of friends.
