Puzzles: @ss Story: meh Horror: Pretty GOOD! I liked and didn't like the game. The puzzles make me feel more dumb than what i already feel, but maybe its just me. The story .. well i was lost the entire time but we got to the end. the thing i dislike the most is the fact that the game punishes you for not hiding... and you only know why once you play it. I enjoyed it but i never want to play it again. good jump scared in my opinion. I will give it a thumbs up for a good horror game.
I enjoyed it more than Silent Hill f. Definitely has a couple frustrating sections and some balance issues around a certain enemy, but they nailed the atmosphere and story. The puzzles started reminding me of some of the stuff from Screen Burn's previous game, Stories Untold, towards the end. The puzzles are skeuomorphic in design and are challenging but usually feel very realistic and immersive as if you've walked into a new job that you know nothing about and are attempting to use a specialized piece of office equipment. It's a different sense of accomplishment from your average video gamey puzzles when you solve them. While the game had some technical issues early on, a lot of those issues have been addressed and I'd say this is maybe one of the best showcases for UE5 that I've seen so far. The crisp textures, the lighting, the shadows - it's almost photo realistic at times. If I…

The crisp textures, the lighting, the shadows - it's almost photo realistic at times. If I had one complaint, it would just be that I wish the game had more of that Screen Burn/No Code sauce. Their games always kind of reminded of some modern day adventure games with very unique gameplay. Some of that is captured in their puzzle design here and to a lesser extent the CRTV being a novel gameplay/story-delivery device, but overall the game is largely your average stealth game.

tried many times, unable to carry on due to motion sickness... Motion sickness in less than 10 mins of gameplay, how is this even possible. I rarely have motion sickness...

What a wonderful game. Yes, it did had a bit of stuttering in some parts, but it did not ruined the game at all. It is a beautiful game with a dense story, would recommend to anyone that wants a Horror game not just for the horror, but the puzzles, great narrative and perfect ambience.
I've never played a silent hill game and not got the worst ending and im happy to report the trend continues
Sehr gute Handlung, erzählerische Dramalogisches, psychische Geschichte. Wieder sehr gut gelungenes Silent Hill. Danke fürs teilhaben.
